About Flora Academy

We exist to make floristry education practical, ethical, and accessible for learners everywhere.

Our Mission

Empower creators to design beautiful, sustainable floral arrangements while building viable creative careers. We teach the craft, the business, and the ethics—so graduates can deliver work that looks good and does good.

Real-world briefs, pricing, mechanics, and delivery constraints.
Ethical
Responsible sourcing, fair labor, cultural respect, transparent fees.
Accessible
Keyboard-first UI, strong contrast, clear language, inclusive formats.

History

Flora Academy grew from small, local workshops into a global learning platform—while keeping the same promise: no gatekeeping, no wasteful trends, no vague “aesthetic” without craft.

  1. 2018: Founding team launches micro-courses to support local florists.
Focused on mechanics, bouquet structure, and honest pricing—built for working professionals.
  2. 2020: Platform expands with wedding and business tracks.
Added production workflows, contract basics, and sustainability benchmarks for events.
  3. 2023: Accessibility overhaul, improving contrast and keyboard navigation.
Rebuilt components for better focus states, readable typography, and reduced-motion support.
